Do you struggle with anxiety or managing stress? Would you like to be more resilient and have stronger, more meaningful relationships?
Unlike therapy, which is diagnostic in nature and focuses on deep rooted psychological issues, coaching is a goal-oriented, intentional, and solution-focused
process designed to empower
individuals. This isn’t counseling. It’s coaching.
I earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Along with coaching, I have a mental health counseling practice in Moorhead, Minnesota. Prior to opening my own coaching practice, I worked as a Readjustment Counselor serving Veterans and their families. I previously worked at the Fargo VA Medical Center as a primary care social worker and a case manager for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families program through the Salvation Army. I also have experience working the area of Children and Family services.
I was raised on my family’s farm in western North Dakota. I served as an Airborne Infantryman in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division (1999-2002) and later with the North Dakota National Guard as a Combat Engineer (2002-2003) and in the U.S. Army Reserve as an Engineer and a Finance Technician (2004-2007).
